2025全球兒童及青少年復活節繪畫大賽
(2025 Global Children and Youth Easter Painting Competition)

  • Watercolor: Wet-on-wet blending for spring atmospheres, dry brushwork for floral outlines.

  • Oil Painting: Impasto for Easter candle flames, glazing for stained-glass color layering.

  • Traditional Ink Painting: Unique brushwork to portray Easter scenes.
    Examples:

  • Seamlessly combining techniques in large-scale Easter parade scenes, ensuring natural transitions.

  • Accurately conveying warm sunlight on Easter eggs through controlled technique, balancing clarity and emotional resonance.

  • Demonstrating mastery in handling intensity and rhythm (e.g., bold strokes for dynamic abstract works, delicate line variations for garden landscapes).

2. Rhythm and Composition Awareness
Assess understanding of visual rhythm and harmony through:

  • Dynamic brushstrokes and color rhythms in abstract Easter celebrations.

  • Subtle line density and compositional flow in detailed Easter garden scenes.

  • Cohesive yet distinct stylistic rhythm across a series of Easter-themed works.

Creativity and Style (25%)

Evaluate uniqueness in:

  • Blending cultural influences (e.g., merging Eastern/Western styles to reinterpret Easter motifs).

  • Developing a signature approach to theme expression (e.g., symbolic narratives, personalized Easter symbolism).

2. Innovative Expression
Assess novelty in:

  • Materials: Unconventional media (e.g., Easter eggshell fragments, rabbit fur textures).

  • Formats: Installation art, digital painting, mixed-media experiments.

  • Narrative: Fresh storytelling (e.g., non-linear Easter tales) or hybrid techniques (traditional + modern fusion).

Theme Relevance and Contextual Atmosphere (20%)

Judge how closely the work embodies Easter’s core themes (rebirth, joy, community) through:

  • Symbolic elements (e.g., egg hunts, church services, family gatherings).

  • Emotional authenticity in descriptions (written or verbal).

2. Contextual Atmosphere
Evaluate the ability to evoke Easter-specific moods (e.g., dawn’s freshness, festive joy, solemn reverence) via:

  • Color gradients, line contrast, and material choices.

  • Holistic composition that immerses viewers in the depicted scene.

Content Complexity and Impact (25%)

1. Technical and Conceptual Challenge
Assess difficulty in:

  • Interpreting Easter’s religious/cultural depth or complex emotions.

Evaluate emotional resonance through:

  • Visual storytelling that connects with viewers.

  • Confident presentation and articulate explanations during judging.

  • Ability to engage audiences and convey the artist’s perspective.
